Hyssop Fever Reducing Tea
Hyssop leaves are
used to grow the mold that produces penicillin. The tea made from hyssop
is very good to treat colds and congestion. Licorice mint (anise
hyssop), a member of the hyssop family, makes a very pleasant tea to
drink as it has a light licorice taste. Add 2-3 tablespoons of the herb
to a teapot. Add
grated orange and lemon rind to the pot if desired.
Pour boiling water over the herb and steep 10-15 minutes. Sweeten and
drink hot. Will induce sweating and reduce fever fast.
